We highly recommend renting a car so you can explore all that the area if it is your first time visiting
If you're meeting up with friends or family and just need transportation to and from the airport, there are several MBTA transportation options avilable
Rideshares such as Uber/Lyft are easy to access at the airport and fairly easy outside of the city.
We recommend booking when you know you'll be coming to the Boston area. There are many different areas to stay and place to explore with lots of different lodging options. Temple Emunah in Lexington is a 20-25 minute drive from downtown Boston (approx 14 miles) and Belmont Country Club is about 25 minutes from downtown Boston (approx 12 miles). If you would like to be more central to the event locations, there are several options in Waltham, Burlington and a few in Lexington.

The Westin is a full service hotel with a restaurant and indoor pool located approx 9-10 minute drive from both Temple Emunah and the Belmont Country Club.
There is a Friday night Kabbalat Shabbat service at the Temple on Friday May 1, with drinks and hors d'hourves at our home prior to the evening service.
